Monday: Inspiration?

You do have to wonder about the inspiration behind certain carvings and gargoyles.  I mean, who do you think was the model for this attractive little chap?

Beautiful day today - the blossom is out, the sky is blue - I think it is supposed to last for a little while.  My colleague tells me that this summer is supposed to be the hottest on record but he said that last year and was completely wrong so I have my doubts.......

I can hear my upstairs neighbour sneezing from my study - he really does do the most ridiculous sneezes.  Just felt I had to share that with you.
