Wednesday: Candlelit Jazz

Today was one of those good days when I felt like I just hammered through a lot of stuff.  I had 

- a meeting with a British architect about a major project he is involved in;
- a lunch with international colleagues about indigenous issues.  Unfortunately one of my colleagues was a real moron who showed that, after 4 years here, he really didn’t understand anything;
- a meeting with a colleague in Brisbane where working out the time difference between here and Australia made us both want to lie down in a dark room;

And to end the day, K and I had tickets to a candlelit jazz evening in east Van.  It was at the Beaumont Studios, a very cool venue.  And the jazz was superb - Canadian classics.  Fabulous.  I had pictures of the musicians but they were very grainy, so here are the candles.
