Walking group meet-up

This morning we met up with 13 others from our Tuesday morning walking group.  It was so good to see everyone - the first time we’d been together since mid-August. One of the other girls (who’s recently had a knee replacement) and I only did a short walk on the flat, but everyone else walked further and included a hill.  We had coffee and a chat afterwards, sitting in the sunshine on the sea wall at Mission Bay.  Hubby, as is quite often the case, was the only male and wore the T-shirt he was given by the group to celebrate a significant birthday. It usually garners quite a few comments.

It’s Day 9 of Level 3 Step 2 and there are 167 new community cases - 142 in Auckland, 5 in Northland, 17 in the Waikato, 1 in the Lakes area, 1 in the Bay of Plenty and 1 in Christchurch. Sadly, two more deaths have been reported.
