Wet, wet, wet … yet again

Today was wet again, not too bad this morning, but heavy, heavy rain this afternoon when, unfortunately, Mr MacD was out and about putting up the weekend’s open home signs and he got rather wet.  No gardening was done today!

I had a lot of work to do, but I managed it and the laptop is now shut down until we return.  My problem toe is still tender after yesterday’s visit to the podiatrist, so I’ve packed some hiker’s wool to protect it over the next few days.

We gradually accumulated the items on our packing list, which were placed alongside each suitcase.  They’re now packed into the two suitcases, with just last-minute things to be packed in the morning.  Very satisfying.

As we walked to Mum’s to have a last drink with her before we leave tomorrow, we spotted little cairns of stones on the grass that had been creatively cut last week.  Someone is obviously having fun.
