Growing

This Amaryllis, purchased last week has approximately doubled in size from 4 inches to 7/8 inches. 
I thought I’d post it now for Flower Friday in the hope that I can show it again flowering in a couple of weeks.

In the background you can see the larger Magnolia tree almost stripped of it’s leaves. There are some still on the smaller ‘Susan’ and the Oak tree right at the back. The strong winds last night have sent the leaves into the borders and corners of the garden. Gave to get out there raking again before they get horrible soggy.

Walked up to the Tittle Tattle Tea Shop this morning and spent a pleasant hour or so in good company whilst Chris, as Church warden had the Archdeacons visitation. Not his favourite event but it went OK.
