Easter visitor
I was delighted to capture this unusually large visitor to our bird feeders. We live one field away from a shooting estate, and I always think that the birds that make it into our garden are the clever ones - escaping from the people that pay vast amounts of money to shoot them.
On the other hand, I understand that pheasant is delicious. And my mother says that nothing beats pheasant tail feathers to clean her oboe. That is NOT a euphemism. She's a professional musician :-D
