Christmas cake

I had another day off work today, which gave me a chance to go to the optician and get my eyes tested, which I haven’t done for about 3 years now. Unsurprisingly, I need new glasses so I chose some frames and will get them in a couple of weeks. I also got around to making the Christmas cake which I try and do by the end of October usually but this is good enough. And we took the hire car back. I don’t think my car will be ready until next week but the RAC only give 3 days’ hire and this was the most convenient day to return it.
