Cocktails

Lindy has been staying all week adjusting to the warmer climes compared to her native Scotland and to the lack of mask wearing in England which she finds quite shocking.

We went over to Yo’s for what I thought were after work drinks but turned out to be dinner… which left me in the awkward position of having to leave part way through as I hadn’t made provision for the dog and had some work to finish by end of the day for a deadline. This was made even worse because I was giving a lift to another guest (but to be fair when I was inviting I was told we would have to leave by 8pm at the latest.).

It’s also Tom’s 23rd birthday today. Looking forward to seeing him in London tomorrow morning.
