Willow weaving sculptures
And children weaving in and out of the sculptures. These had been really well constructed and they'll form amazing dens when they start to grow - if we ever have a spring! We might not have spring but we do have lighter nights and long last.
The sculptures were at Cannon Hall where we went for lunch - the staff do treat us very well there - a table reserved for us + individualised service - and the place was packed today. We managed a short walk down to the lake in the grotto and then made our way back up a very muddy path - the sort that slips and slides and is horribly muddy just on the surface. Underneath was probably still frozen.
My brother took mum back to her own home and after a brief shop for a few more veg I headed back here too. Not a bad day today with quite a bit of sun but still that cold easterly wind.
p.s I've been playing with the photo-app again - not much tweaking this time. I think it's called Helga.
