Saturday: Yukon River

At this time of year it doesn’t get light until after 10am so imagine our confusion when we woke up just after 0800 and it was still pitch dark outdoors……..

We spent a lot of time at the local museum this morning.  It was a great space and……warm………from there we had some lunch, took a stroll round town and found the excellent local bookstore.

When we got back to the hotel we stumbled right into the middle of a wedding……Bianca and Michaela, from Toronto, were getting hitched.  They invited us in for cake so we readily accepted.

Excellent dinner tonight at ‘The Miner’s Daughter’.

And a few extras, including the happy couple……they’ve uploaded randomly but they’ll have to do.
