Sunday: Butterfly Farm

We took a drive out to Green Hills Butterfly Farm about 45 minutes south of us.  It was delightful - there were so many butterflies fluttering about, including Blue Morphos, Malachites, Owl Butterflies, amongst others.  Some of them were as large as small birds.  They also had a hummingbird viewing station which was just alive with activity.  

From there we went to Barton Creek.  For the first time we really put our car through its paces.  It’s a Landrover so we got to really test it - K. did some magnificent off road driving, including driving through two rivers.  We were quite giddy with excitement by the end of it!

It’s been a really good weekend.
