"let me go home"

An open, log burning fire....without question the homing beacon for everyone who spends most of the year away from home in accommodation which lacks one! This is just one symbol of home comforts for me.... :)

Armed with my mini pharmacy to keep my cold symptoms under control, I made my way home to lovely Fermanagh for a long weekend. Due to the term timetables at uni, this is the first time in 3 years that I will be at home for actual easter, rather than 2 or even 3 weeks later for my holidays! So i guess there are some positives to the working world!

With a strong easterly wind, my flight from Edinburgh-Belfast was record quick tonight! Just an hour from take off on Scottish soil to walking into the pick up area in Belfast!

Time now for some TLC from mum - starting with a cup of tea and a piece of chocolate cake - another of my home comforts signs! :)
