Easter Happies!

The day started out with an Easter Egg hunt for the kiddies. They seemed to enjoy gathering up the booty and Monkey even found a few all by himself! He seemed very proud of his accomplishments.

We celebrated after lunch in a very pagan fashion with a lovely sunny walk in the woods. Chickpea spent a lot of time hitting the dirt with a stick. "I'm pounding, I'm pounding!" Then she poked a lot of different surfaces (soil, snow, stone) with the stick- some wonderful scientific experimentation going on there. She also seemed very interested in all the horse tracks we found in the mud. Poor Monkey chucked up all over himself in the car on the way (not due to chocolate, I promise) so needed some slingy cuddles during the walk.
