Trans-Siberian Orchestra
This is Saturday's blip, backblipped on Sunday.
A great show last night at Ball Arena in Denver. I went with Becky and Darrin while PD stayed home with the dogs. That sounds mean but it was his choice. He hates crowds, loud noises and bright lights so he really would not have been happy! We loved it the whole extravaganza, though!
The show was a Christmas story narrated by the man in the upper left, who had a voice like James Earl Jones. The music was heavy metal which is far from my favorite, but it was well done and fit in perfectly with the laser lights and special effects. The lights were constantly changing during the 2 hour show. There's another image in the extra.
Everyone had to show their ID and Covid vaccination cards, and masks were required as soon as we got out of the car in the parking lot. It's the biggest crowd I've been in since the pandemic started but I felt reasonably safe. It's either that or just stay home.
I was pleased with the job my little camera did. DSLRs were not allowed inside but the 60x zoom (1365 mm equivalent) on my Canon SX70 got me in close enough for these shots. The middle image gives an idea of the range of the lens.
I'm grateful to B and D for inviting me to join them and grateful to PD for always encouraging me to do things, even if he's not interested. :-)
