my silica footprint

We went on another bike ride to the beach this afternoon and witnessed a beautiful sunset over the Channel Islands. As forecast, the temperature climbed significantly today as the  Santa Ana winds brought warm air form the California desert to the coast. They created these ripples in the light dry sand allowing me to capture the impression my shoe left as it was illuminated by the low sun.
