Bravery all round

A bit of a shock for us today as Catherine fell off her horse when it was spooked by a snake. She is a bit bartered and bruised and now sports a dislocated elbow fixed back into place by the local orthopedic staff and some happy medicine.
Medals for bravery awarded to:
Catherine for having the presence of mind to organize everyone during the little crisis despite the pain and our handicap of having only one phone and one car
Elinor for calming down the horse she was riding and maintaining total control of it (and herself) despite witnessing mummy’s nasty accident for the descent from the top of the hill
Nesta for not losing it after being whisked away from the party she was to the hospitals and comforting her mum through the pain..
At the end of the day family bonds are even stronger
