Morning light on the tree tops
Last night I think my camera club presentation went off okay - I made notes that I planned to read from but I lost my way so ended up just talking! They liked the images so hopefully that made up for any poor presenting skills. We have a members' evening once a year so at least I have done a presentation so don't feel as if I need to do one again for some time.
Today it is five years since my mother died, I cannot believe where the years have gone to, it feels like the other day that I saw her. I still think I can pick up the phone and talk to her.
Today was another crisp and cold day, but sunny once again. I have done something strange to my foot so I was limping on my morning walk, then came home and decided to try and rest it so I have been sitting in front of the computer, preparing images for our last camera club internal competition this year, and preparing images for three external camera club competitions - they are now done and uploaded so I can relax on that front until next year. We are meant to be going back to in person camera club meetings next year but following a vote on it we have decided to run hybrid meetings so those that want to go in person can, and those that want to stay on zoom can also do that.
Tonight I must catch up on TV, I am a few episodes behind on the Great British Bake Off, and I was upset to see on the news that my favourite baker, who I thought would win, is not even in the final. It is the final tonight and I don't want to read about who the winner is so I have to get up to speed.
