Lending A Helping Hand
Sunny but cold today. Couldn’t sleep so got up before 4:00 am. Last night, my mother called about someone tampering with her credit card - again. Not finding a solution to protect her from these bad people is very stressful to my analyst brain. It simply can’t rest. Hubby changed his plans to go down today to see what he could do to help. We still don’t know what happened but someone attempted (unsuccessfully thank the Lord) to take a sizable cash advance from her card. She was still charged a $70 fee. The new card came today so hubby set up her auto pays and later they called all concerned to get everything fixed including the removal of the fee and assurance her Christmas purchases would be paid. The cable folks came by our house and installed new lines so hopefully we’ll have better, cheaper service soon. I went shopping, put everything away and it was time to pick up my grandson. Our BIL and SIL put on the new camper cover last week. Mancil went to help hubby winterize the camper and install pool noodles over the solar panel sharp edges that were tearing the cover. The poor kid could not feel his hands by the time they were finished. Hubby is always helping others so it warms my heart when others reach out to help him. We came home to enjoy more of the goodies our DIL gave us. Thanks for visiting and leaving such nice comments and stars. Hope you have a great support system too. “We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other. If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.” - Jeff Warner
