Come on in, the Water is Perfect

Cloudy and cool early, sunny and breezy late day. Run of the mill morning, housecleaning tasks. Hubby collected our recycling and trash for the refuse center. Granddaughter Abby had a tonsillectomy at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore today. She and her dad had to leave home by 4 am. She texted me before they left so I was up early. Everything went well and she is home resting with her meds keeping the pain at bay. Her mom brought over enough food that I won’t have to cook until we get to WV - yahoo! She made extra for guests that had to cancel; darn the luck! We saw many birdies at the feeders and heated bird bath today. I had sharper photos but wanted to give the “splish-splash” effect. They entertained hubby and me for quite some time, taking turns relaxing in their very own spa. Hubby had a great PT session. He can put away the cane around the house. Hopefully, I ordered the last of the Christmas gifts this afternoon. Having separated and boxed everything by recipient, most gifts are in our rec room to be wrapped, starting tomorrow. We watched a report about the horrible Wisconsin parade incident; they need our prayers. We should have a quiet evening. Hope yours is as well. Stay safe and warm. Thanks for dropping by. “There must be quite a few things that a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them.” - Sylvia Plath
