No peeking!

We decided to go to town today because more rain is coming our way. We stopped at the garbage transfer station and I hopped out of the car quickly to take a shot of these two while G paid to drop off the bag of garbage. I thought they were cute, sitting on the bench just outside the office. We got a lot accomplished: dropped off recycling; got a jerry can of gas and topped up the gas in the truck; picked up some groceries; went to the bank but couldn't get any cash; took a card to our friend who has just had his appointment as our new fire chief confirmed; and had lunch at the Tree House. Can't remember the last time we had lunch in a cafe!  
Why couldn't we get cash?  None of the bank machines were available and there was only one teller in the bank. I waited in line for about 10 minutes but it wasn't moving because one customer was taking a long time and didn't seem to be any closer to resolving whatever problem he was having. We know him, so when we ran into him later, we gave him a hard time (jokingly) about it. He'd lost his bank card and the teller was inexperienced. The bank still has limited opening hours as do many businesses in town because of staff shortages.
