Fenced in?

This fence doesn't look too strong - but it's clearly be standing for a loooong time. Long enough for a huge beech tree to have grown and pushed it out of line anyway.

After a catch up over a cup of tea with 'Second Half of Life' this morning, Kiwilizzie and I headed out to The Red Barn for lunch. I did take my camera in, and took a photo of Sarah the Peacock with two of her young, but they were disappointing photos.

After lunch we headed up the West Bank of the Matakitaki in the hope of finding some fungii - very little to be found and those that we did find made poor photos.

In the end I was going to blip a photo of Kiwilizzie modelling her 'rural rider' look but she's beaten me to it.
