So dark late afternoon now

It feels so  late when I leave the Oxfam shop at 5.30.  It’s already been dark for an hour and a half. There a few Christmas lights up, but what caught my eye was this little group of leaves remaining on the tree, illuminated from below. 

Later I caught up with the Bake-off final.  I thought they all deserved to win. It’s one of few TV programmes I like. I read that a person on ‘Im a celebrity get me out of here’ is in hospital after being immersed in rotten fruit and vegetables, and fish offal. He has to remain in it to find a token so that his fellow contestants can eat. This is entertainment?
