Easter morning

In my mind Easter holiday has been cold, cloudy and windy, but this year we have been spoiled by the most beautiful weather. Spring is late, but we have been able to walk on the lake Saimaa, because the cold nights have frostened snow on the ice. Yesterday I saw cars driving on ice and this is NOT an april joke.

This morning there was a thick fog, even too thick to be photogenic and it disappeared too soon. I was almost alone in the fortress, it felt like magic.

Thanks for comments on the blip yesterday. I think it will be a long process, some of the glass negatives are still in Simo in Northern Finland.
