Aysgarth middle falls

Amazed we had sun and no rain this morning. Bitterly cold though. We went to Aysgarth and started at the upper falls, then decided we could manage the middle falls (42 steps down and back up). We continued on the walk to the lower falls. More steps, but mum wasn't going to be defeated, 77 down and back up!

After a picnic lunch we visited my cousin and his wife for a couple of hours.

The gale has now arrived and has also brought some snow showers. Could be fun getting home tomorrow.
