Blissed Out Snowman
Today stared with an early morning coffee watching "My Greatest Shot" on Sky Arts. This is a half hour programme where two separate photographers talk about their greatest shots. Each episode it about a different subject - travel, portraits or landscapes.
It's really fascinating listening to them talk about how they got a particular image, the luck that is sometimes involved and how they use photoshop to enhance certain aspects of a shot.
It was then out for a run with my brother. It was cold and windy and then started to chuck it down with rain about halfway along our route but it was great to be out in the elements. Of course, just after we finished our run the sun came out. Typical!
Today's image was taken on a short trip into our nearest town of Maidstone for a bit of shopping and a quick pint. The Christmas window displays are obviously now out in their full yuletide glory but this particular one caught my eye due to the snowman's expression, eyes shut with a beaming smile, and the reflections of the other shops.
In the afternoon we watched "Queen of Speed" on Sky Documentaries, about the rally driver Michele Mouton, that I mentioned in a previous blip. Easily one of the best documentaries I've seen this year.
