The Winter Bird And The Snowflakes

Today's image is a bit of case of from feast to famine after yesterday's blip.
I had intended to get some shots at our village's Christmas market. It was great last year - you were greeted by a 6 foot inflatable reindeer on the way in, there were twinkling Christmas lights, carol songs being played, a fabulously decorated Christmas tree and a huge Santa - but this time there was none of that so it was seriously underwhelming. We did manage to console ourselves with an alfresco burger before we left but walked home feeling a little deflated.
So today's image is an emergency blip. It's an avian garden ornament that I've tried to imbibe with a little early festive spirit, which I had been hoping to get from the Christmas market, by adding a white background and some snowflakes! :-)
