Fremlin Walk

From our favourite perch on the sofas in Waterstones coffee shop.

We got away with Storm Arwen (so far). A blustery wind and scats of rain. Very cold with some snow on the Downs first thing.

A second trip into town in as many days. Drove to the other side of Maidstone and parked near to Waitrose where we made a few purchases.

From there a pleasant enough walk along the River Medway from Allington Lock to the town centre for lunch and that coffee. More Christmas shopping accomplished.

That storm has been powerful in the north and fatal too. I hope if you’ve been affected that there’s been no serious damage and that you can begin to peek over the parapet.
