Golden trees

Nice to have a day with a little less to do than the past few days.

Having said that there was still plenty of things to do. Susan had to take her mum for a blood test this morning. When she got to the surgery they didn’t know why a blood test had been required. We’re still not sure. They took the blood anyway.

Meanwhile, I was on cleaning duties while they were out. Doreen came back for lunch and stayed for dinner too.

It was a grey old morning, with lots of mist around. We didn’t hold out much hope for sunshine this afternoon. However, the clouds broke and there were a few hours of welcome sunshine, the low light of which illuminated this stand of trees as we crossed the golf course.
