Friday: Prawn Cocktail

A day of sunshine in between the rain.  Yesterday was another heavy rain day and this weekend is set to be the same.  I had a good day at home - for various reasons, there are a lot of things I am trying to get ahead on.

We had our neighbours, Arturo and Riba, round for dinner tonight.  They’ve always been excellent neighbours and we’ve had some great chats on the street.  So we decided to take it indoors and have them over.  We had a great time and K cooked up a nicely typical beef roast, complete with Yorkshire puddings, which they’d never had (they’re originally from Mexico).

This is the only photo I took today.  I’m not sure what I was focussing on but it certainly wasn’t the prawn cocktail.
