Wintry Sky

And a wintery feel to the day all round.   The overnight stormy winds slowly abated during the day but at sunset the tops were still lit brightly, golden white.   The blip was at 10am this morning, as I arrived at Aber for my cafe shift.

My workmate for the day was unwell, I thought it would be a very quiet day given the storm, with trees down on many roads but I was proved wrong.   The first train was well loaded and although the second one had far fewer passengers, a training train with a dozen hungry volunteers filled the gap and my time.   Fun, despite the challenge of working alone. (Thanks Peter, today's guard for helping out this morning.)

More of the same tomorrow ... when I should have assistance.
