OH was playing golf so I started with a walk and a podcast (Monica Lewinsky and the Clinton impeachment) - fascinating stuff. Home for a bit of sewing (bedroom cushions) then off to volunteering shift. Lots of sad people today. I’ve decide that the timing is not great for shift (12.30 - 3.30) as the traffic was awful getting home. I had planned to call into Hobbycraft to change thread but crossing town (in the traffic) put me off.

Home to find OH painting as his scheduled hospital visit with MIK had been rearranged as a phone call. Not sure how surgeon can check progress over the phone but MIL is making good recovery so assume all is ok?

This was a quick snap of my roses still blooming. Dead heading is definitely worth it - in fact I’ve put nippers (for dead heading)
