The ingredients for making Vegan gingerbread.

The First Sunday of Advent.
The Feast Day of St. Gregory the Third.
The snow that fell yesterday froze over night and Pendle Hill being the highest hill within visibility is pure white and looking seasonally snowy.
It is 1c now, but it was 0c earlier this morning and the bird's water tub froze into a solid block of ice. I put out some fresh water for them and made sure the feeding pole was well stocked up. I love all the wildlife and pity them in this harsh weather.
This afternoon, along with watching Songs of Praise, as they do Chorister of the year, we will find a good Christmas film and be making some gingerbread biscuits, using a Vegan recipe that we have not used before. I am going to try out the new embossing rolling pin that has a design of reindeer and Christmas trees.
I heard sad news of an elderly second cousin suddenly passing away, so prayers for Gloria's dear soul.
