Cumstoun Bridge

Today's the day ...................... for the morning after

We woke this morning to a slight dusting of powdery snow, which made everything look quite wintery for a while.  But the sun was shining and it was just the perfect sort of a day to go for a walk and blow away the cobwebs of the night before.

Rob and I took Brodie the dog along the river to Cumstoun Bridge.  There was a new, entire tree in the water beneath the bridge (see extra) which must have blown down in the gales of Friday night and then been carried downstream.  It looked rather ghostly lying in the water.

I'm sure the temperature must have been only just a few degrees above freezing - but it was lovely to be out in the fresh air ..................
