First Snow

We had a little sprinkling of snow last night - very unusual for us this early in the winter season. It fell on frozen rain which created some interesting walking strategies on my way to the field this morning! It was worth it. The low morning sunshine across the dusting of snowy vegetation was beautiful and calming.
