Wintery Experience

The stormy wind from yesterday has completely passed and we’ve had a sunny but very cold day. About 3 degrees with a sprinkle of snow this evening. Rather a shock to the system after the mild autumn so far.

The days feel so short when by 14:30 the light is fading. This evening we had a fiery sunset as we walked Merlin. So much drama in the sky at this time of year which contrasts so strongly with the more subdued and increasingly wintery landscape.

A day of dog walks and studying - today working out 12 different aromatherapy blends each for a different condition and situation.

Andy made lamb hotpot for dinner. It felt perfectly suited for today.
