Aunt Lettie
My father took annual cuttings of his geraniums particularly of a Royal Pelagonium that he referred to as ‘Aunt Lettie’ after a Great Aunt of my mother’s that gave him the original. Before he died earlier in the year he had already done his cuttings, presumably in the previous Autumn and I mainly took them on, I left some for Mum too. They didn’t have a good summer, no geranium did, but now i have taken some cuttings for next year. I am not experienced with cuttings so I have basically tried several different methods. The mother plant has enough shoots left that if i keep it out of the frost I might be able to do some in Spring as well.
One must succeed?! No pressure!
