plans changing as they do... a morning of coffee including the gift of some local grown, ground and roasted by the owner of the house we were staying at, which was utterly exceptional stuff and forgiven for breaking the high e on his guitar, offered a tour of an organic coffee plantation next time down this way... so back up to yuli to pick up what had been left and then a train further down the valley to chishang... a place, and a tree, made famous by an ad for mr brown's coffee... where we were met by the rain once again which had decided to spend sporadic portions of the day cleansing us, just making sure that we don't get too close to being dried off, eventually a trailing squalls across nightfall on the long walk into town for food, met with a place of fried rice and a bowl of spicy tofu ... fed and warmed and just about readied to keep the rain company on the walk back out to the room... the rabbit hole still in taipei..
