Wood Pigeons

A morning of sorting out stuff, it is surprising what you hoard over the years, just because it might come in handy. However, I was reminded recently, when we could not purchase a new tap unit, that it was possible to make a good one out of two broken ones!

Today's picture is of two pigeons, the one on the left looked poorly with its feathers puffed up. It sat on the bird table, then the feeder, then went back to the bird table where it ate some food, drank some water and then flew away; it was probably just cold.

The temperature at GMT today in my home village was eight degrees Celsius.
