Saffron Walden Football Club

A local hospital appointment this morning, which was rather a waste of time. It was a referral from Royal Papworth requested on 15 September. Recent events means that various tests had taken place which overrode this appointment. Once a report from Addenbrookes arrives it is likely that we will have to go back.
 
After the appointment we went to the new Tesco café as my next appointment was an hour away. It is very nice and they do have some things that I can eat.
 
Then, in my role as u3a Venues Organiser I visited the Town Football Club to see if it was suitable for some of the groups and classes; today’s picture shows part of the bar area.
          
The temperature at noon today was eight degrees Celsius.
