Bitterly cold bank holiday

I know we always joke about bank holiday weather but it was so cold today!! We had decided last night to visit Castle Howard near York - I had never been, hubby seems to think he went as a child but couldn't remember it.

We had a lovely day in spite of the bitterly cold wind and lack of sun! Lottie met Molly the Rabbit, we looked round the house where there were particularly informative and friendly guides. There was a little fair for the kids and the Lamb National sheep race! Didn't think the grounds or the house were as nice as Chatsworth but we had a good walk and at least got some fresh air.

Spoilt for choice for blips so chose this one, was a shame more of the daffs weren't out.

Apologies for the lack of comments but I need to get on with some present wrapping for Lottie's birthday on Wednesday. I promise I will catch up x
