Palm valley

Another aborted walk this morning. We got to the trail head and set off. Immediately my husband’s cap was blown off by the wind back into the road and under a parked car. We set off again but quickly decided it was just too windy. We knew the path was narrow and precipitous later on so we didn’t want to risk it. Instead we went down to the coast and walked to a local beach. I took the blip just before we returned to the car, there are rather a lot of palms there. It continued to be very windy this afternoon.
