Tufted duck

We delayed our morning walk to incorporate a visit to the post office with a parcel of books that I have reviewed for my research assessment work. We had such a long chat with our lovely postmaster that I lost track of time. I was taken completely by surprise in Inverleith Park when Mr hazelh told me it was 12:18, especially since I had an online meeting with Bruce, Iain, and our colleague Stella at the British Library pencilled in for 13:00. Lunch was rather late today after the meeting at 14:00.

I blipped this (non-tufted) tufted duck in the pond in Inverleith Park.

Exercise today: not much walking (again!): 7523 steps.
