one year

since i started going out with THIS GUY!
weirdly, i didnt write a blip a year ago, not sure why

so a year....365 days. seems like a long time but can confirm that time flies!
there have been several ups and downs, distance has been a challenge, from Newcastle (UK) to Birmingham (UK)was alright....now, Newcastle (UK) to Bulawayo (Zimbabwe) is an even bigger one.
skype has been amazing for that as has free whatsapp and phone calls...technology these days eh??? lol

anyways, its been exciting. and i can safely say that im a stronger Christian since last year. here is to another great year!

in other news, my brother - the one at the end , took himself to A&E to get himself seen to by the docs after a weeklong fever and temperature. he has existing medical conditions and so he was kept in over night to basically cover all their bases. it was quite a scary and weird feeling when dad took him in and arrived back home several hours later alone....brought back horrible memories of doing nightshifts by his bedside when he was at his worst all those years ago. i couldnt sleep last night so today has been a slow one.

we went to visit him this afternoon and enjoyed a game of rummie! :)
