A Real Christmas Tree

This ethereal tree stands in the deep winter shadows of the Solalex Valley (more valley in extra, I didn’t know which one to chose) which won’t get the sun till February now. In the background the sun is shining on Les Diablerets and the Tour d’Anzeindaz. I have always wanted to photograph this tree in Winter, but usually I am cross country skiing on the tracks below when I only see it from a distance. This morning I climbed up the short distance to approach it.
