Memento

It was back in the 1970s that we lived in Kenya and it was just for two and a half years, but that time has left a big impression on our lives. We love to watch the tv films on African wildlife, and our home is full of pictures and artefacts from Kenya. This little dish appeals with its elephant picture. Elephants are such intelligent creatures, it is distressing that they are poached for their Ivory.
An indoor day today, some domestic tasks, but a lot of cross stitch too.
