Ebb And Flow
I became intrigued by patches of bubbles which had collected against the rocks along the lake shore. They moved in and out with the gentle wave motion, creating different patterns, constantly morphing into new shapes, building up, then breaking apart.
It was quite mild today, so I could spend some time in the sunshine experimenting with shapes and timing, seeing what I could find. Depending on the wave, light would catch on the underwater rocks, but capturing that was tricky. I like the detail of the crossed shadows on the central rock, cast by reeds out of shot.
