Spear

Overnight it had been cold enough to freeze water lapping over the rocks along the lake shore. It's the first time this season. I really enjoyed making images using the shapes and light. Ice lends itself to more extreme contrast to show off its character.

It was windy, so I upped the shutter speed whilst using the long lens and even so shielded it with my body.

Not much processing required and I let the dark background remain as is.
