Christmas Fayre
A bit of an emergency blip. Most of the day I've been playing with my iMac, which developed an oddity a couple of MacOS updates previously. It wouldn't search folders, or at least not the photo one or the music one. That was a real pain but I had ignored it for the time being. Then yesterday, there was a bit of a start-up fubar, so I felt I needed to give it a bit of a talking to.
The start-up thing was easy; a simple disk-check and repair. The snafu with the folders took a while. I'd somehow inherited an aberrant disk volume which was hosting both those folders, but was not properly connected to the main OS volume. Give up now, folks, but I fixed it and put a new backup system in place.
So, late in the day for pretty much anything using light, we nipped into Wotton Under Edge where the street fayre was well underway. About 50/50 as to whether the fashion was for wearing masks, and the crowds were pretty thick. But so was my own mask, so hopefully we're still here. No Ivy tomorrow evening, as she's been in contact etc. Whatever shall we do?
I say!!! That naughty plagiarist has copied my photo, and using her new iPhone 13 Pro she's done a better job of it!!! I've had to add something to mine she can't copy... can you see it?
