WILD!

It was blowing up a hooley this morning at the Quays. The water was 7.6 degrees, the wind was raging and it was raining sideways. I swam the full course but it was a challenge. A woman ahead of me had to call for the rescue boat as she couldn’t swim against the filthy weather. I like a challenge and I felt good once I’d done it and was able to get dressed and warm in the car.
