Lightwaves

I had a blipmeet at the Quays with Mindseye this afternoon. We had a great time mooching around and taking photos…once we had managed to park. A match had just finished at Old Trafford so there were parking spaces. The queue later on was ridiculous as it stretched from the car park all the way back to the motorway.

The highlight of the festival was a huge floating globe, but the filthy weather yesterday bashed it around so much that it was reduced to a deflated lump that sat in a soggy mound in the dock. It was a shame, but we enjoyed taking pics of the other bits. The mermaids were magical but very difficult to photograph.

It was very busy, but we felt very safe as it was outdoors and spread all around the Quays. It was lovely to mooch around taking pics with Sue and I look forward to another little jaunt in the future.

I was supposed to go on a swim meet up at Gaddings Dam tomorrow, but Storm Barra has put paid to that…bugger!
